The aim of this teacher training course is to create a solid basis for you, in order to help you pursue a career as a certified Yoga teacher. The training focuses on quality in all aspects, ranging from well designed and comprehensive courses, teaching methodologies, a team of experienced teachers, comfortable  accommodation and a healthy diet in a magnificent and  natural forest  environment.

The program is also suitable for anyone who is not aiming to become a teacher but wishes to dive into the path of Yoga. It is a very beneficial course for self-healing, growth and gaining optimum health.

The course covers a wide range of topics, including a daily morning Pooja, asanas, basic meditation techniques, pranayamas, shatkriyas, body alignment techniques, how to teach individual and group sessions, Karma Yoga, Yoga Nidra, optional Sanskrit classes and many others.

The main aim of this course is to teach physical and spiritual practices that lay down the foundation to become a well rounded Yoga teacher. The course includes studying Yoga postures with adjustment, shatkriyas, meditation, pranayama, yogic philosophy, anatomy.

Classes are held Mondays to Fridays from 05:30 to 18:30. Saturday morning class to 08:30. Sunday is day off.


During the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training you will:

Course curriculum

1. Vinyasa - Ashtanga yoga

You will get two daily alternating yoga classes. You will be introduced to the various asanas in a systematic manner with progressively increasing level of difficulty. Once the basics are mastered, asana flows, adjustments and subtle aspects of breath & awareness will be brought into focus.

2. Adjustment & Alignment 

You will learn how to adjust asanas and understand how adjustment can deepen your practice. You will cover their benefits, modifications and cautions. We use different props such as bolsters, belts, pillows and blocks to reach the effect of the posture.

3. Pranayama (breathing techniques)

You will learn techniques to work with vital energy, prana, centers in the body with a goal of becoming proficient enough to teach these skills to your students.

4. Shatkarma (cleansing techniques)

We will start everyday with alternating yogic cleansing practices which will work in conjunction with the asana practices.

5. Meditation

You will cover a range of meditation techniques that will help build concentration and focus in your daily practice. Techniques include Om chanting, Chakra and Power of Transformation meditation.

6. Anatomy

You will learn anatomy and physiology relevant to yoga in order to strengthen the classroom explanations, cues, and corrections of asanas. During this 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you will cover:

  • Yoga and skeletal system,  brain & nervous system, respiratory system, digestive system, cardiovascular system
  • Effects of pranayama, asanas and meditation for various disorders.
  • Subtle body anatomy of the chakras, nadis and the application of chakras energy in the practice of yoga.
  • Introduction to Ayurveda & yogic diet.

7. Yoga Philosophy

This class will focus on introducing you to the basic philosophy, concepts and history of yoga. It will cover the various traditional philosophies and viewpoints, insights from modern research and ways in which the essence of this holistic life-view can be integrated into a modern lifestyle. During your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you will cover:

  • Yoga Sutras: parts of the Patanjali’s yoga Sutra
  • 8 limbs of Ashtanga yoga
  • The philosophy behind Ashtanga yoga and Vinyasa yoga
  • Parts of the Bhagavad Gita

8. Art of teaching 

This class will give you the necessary building blocks to devise your own yoga class. Learn how to motivate your students by teaching inclusively to the range of abilities that you may be faced with.

9. Yoga teaching practicum 

Starting from the third week of the program you will get Teaching Practicum. During Teaching Practicum you will:

  • Practice teaching with lead teacher
  • Receive/give feedback
  • Prepare your own class
  • Teach your own class
  • Adjust your students correctly

  • OPENING CEREMONY: Is generally held at 17.00h on the day before the listed course start date and is followed with a welcome dinner at 19.00h.
  • CHECK IN: 14.00h onwards one day before your listed course start date.
  • CHECK OUT: Before 10.00h on the day of your listed course end date.
